Down on the farm

We experimented with a pumpkin, We used our smell, touch, sight, and hearing to observe the different parts of a pumpkin. 

Corn and combines were a big hit 

Practiced cutting with scissors this week, walking safety and building our finger muscles. 

Painting mud on our tractors

Autumn is here!

 

More fall fun this week!  🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂

 Monday/ Tuesday  we made scarecrows, and read Clifford's " Silly scarecrow", and learned why farmers have scarecrows in autumn.  

The dramatic play area was very busy with friends making apple pie, and picking pumpkins in the pumpkin patch   🍎🍏🍎🍏

Our group activity was hammering golf tees into pumpkins,. 

All of our friends really liked this activity!

Coloring leaves for our very own, leaf man. 

Wednesday/ Thursday we read " The leafman" and used our imagination.
