Halloween

What a fun week filled with yummy treats, spooky crafts, adorable costumes and comfy pajamas!
Happy Halloween!

All about PUMPKINS

This week was all about Pumpkins!
We have new toys in our open area. We have a play pumpkin field & even a farmers market!
On Monday/Tuesday we sang the song, "5 Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Fence." We practiced pinching our fingers to twist our glues open/shut. Then we used ladybug dots of glue for our fence, moon, and pumpkins.

On Wednesday/Thursday we used pumpkin seeds to practice our name writing.
We even learned about the life cycle of pumpkins!

Then Friday, we did some fun pumpkin paint stamping with cut up pool noodles!
What a fun Fall week we had full of pumpkins! We are all so excited for Halloween!

Apple Stamping!

This week we learned about the skin, flesh, seed, stem, and pit of an apple. We also discovered that when you cut an apple in half, you can find a perfect star around the seeds! The children were pretty amazed!
