Due to the recent circumstances involving COVID-19, we wanted to let parents know that our goal is to remain open. This does not include 4K. 4K falls under the School District of Edgerton and follows the District of Edgerton policy.
We have a few policy updates that we will be enforcing during this time. As of Monday, March 16th to April 3rd. (Please remember we are closed for Spring Break still, March 23-27.) This may be extended or lifted at any time. We reserve the right to modify our policy and time frame as needed.
In order to remain open, we are following strict guidelines.
*Upon entering our building you will be asked to wash your hands and children’s hands, before doing anything else.
Please allow extra time when dropping your children off for the day.
*Your child’s temperature will be taken and logged before you leave them. If your child has a temperature of 99.9, you will have to remove them from childcare for at least 48 hours until they are fever free, WITHOUT MEDICATION. This means fever due to anything, (teething, ear infection, etc).
We will be taking your child’s temperature throughout the day. If your child has a fever of 99.9 or higher you will need to pick them up WITHIN ONE HOUR.
*If your child has a cough, breathing difficulty or runny nose, you may be asked to pick your child up or not drop them off for the day, with possible extension.
*Our staff has been instructed to clean excessively and turn away students that appear ill.
*We will get outside as much as possible. Please bring outside gear for your children!
*If our staff becomes ill and we can not maintain ratios, we will close.
*You are required to pay for childcare if we remain open. (As always, even if your children are sick). You are not required to pay for childcare if we close.
*If you remove your children for an extended amount of time, you may risk losing your spot. *If you are traveling with your children over Spring Break, please keep them out of childcare for 3 days after you return to monitor them.
*If our stores and distributors run out of our daily supplies/food, we will have to close.
We apologize in advance! We do know this is especially difficult right
now! We hope everyone understands that we are doing everything in our
power to remain open. Please help us stop the spread by keeping your
children home if they are ill or appear ill.
Stay healthy, happy and safe during these difficult times.
